As an educator in language, learning and culture I have thought a lot about what it takes to teach and learn in the public schools of the US, Colorado in particular. In this blog I seek to explore my own learning through teaching… face to face and online.
And I have to acknowledge Noam Chomsky for the title of this blog. In the video series Acquiring the Human Language, Chomsky states that our current beliefs about linguistics are ‘present partial knowledge.’ I believe that all we think and believe is present and partial… so in the spirit of teaching and learning… the title of this blog.
